How to Style Your Knitwear

Christmas may have been and gone but the winter is far from over! The weather in the UK has been unseasonably mild, which means that we are probably in for a freezing January, February and March. But it’s not all doom and gloom – autumn and winter are the best seasons for fashion! Nothing beats layering up and accessorising outfits with scarves and hats.

Here at Grannies Inc we are somewhat experts in knitwear! We love keeping up with the latest trends and experimenting with different looks to wear our knitted accessories with. Here’s some of our favourite ways to style your knitwear.

Long arm warmers are a great alternative to gloves or mittens, and leave your fingers totally free. The cable knit pattern is right on trend and these can be worn over long sleeve tops and under coats. Style these arm warmers with a heavy cape to stay warm and trendy.

Big chunky scarves look great when looped around the neck to keep warm. You could also choose a snood style which adds interest to plain tops. Team a large chunky scarf with ripped jeans and boots for a fashionable timeless winter look.

When it comes to headwear this season, it’s all about the bobble hat! Available in all different colours, the chunky cable knit hats are super cute and look great with coats, jumpers and matching scarves and gloves.

A knitted cardigan is also one of this season’s fashion essentials. Stay cosy with an oversized piece of knitwear which looks great with jeans, leggings or tights and a skirt. Team with the bobble hat for a knitwear match made in heaven!

Don’t forget, if you can’t find a scarf, snood or hat that you love then our Grannies can knit something unique just for you to style out your way.
