Below are the answers to some frequently asked questions to save you having to ask. If you have a question that is not on this list then please feel free to contact us.

Q. How long will delivery take?
A. Delivery times vary from seller to seller. Items that a seller holds in stock can be with you within a few days however items that are made to order wil likely take longer. The estimated number of days it will take to knit an item is clearly stated on the items page, so please do check this before ordering.
Q. I have a specific question about an item. What should I do?
A. If you have a question about an item please email us at [email protected] including the name of the item in the subject line. We'll pass on your message and get back to you with an answer as soon as we hear back from the seller.
Q. I'd like to purchase something but I need it in a rush. Is there anything you can do to speed up delivery?
A. The number of days it will take to knit an item is stated on the items page but this is only an estimate. If you need something knit and delivered for a certain date then please send an email to us at [email protected] including the name of the item in the subject line. We'll contact the seller to see if there is any way we can meet your deadline.
Q. How do I claim a gift certificate?
A. If you have a gift certificate beginning with the letters 'GR', enter it in at step 1 in the basket and the amount of your certificate will be deducted from the balance. Otherwise, your gift certificate has been issued by Paypal so you need to reedem it via Paypal. Go through our checkout stage and click 'make payment' at the bottom. This will take you through to Paypal where you must either log in or click 'continue' next to the 'Don't have a Paypal account?' to make a payment. You will then be taken through to a payment review page where you can enter your gift certificate. The value of the gift certificate will be deducted from your total and you may pay the difference (if any) as you would any other online payment.
Q. How do I apply a promo code?
A. If you're lucky enough to have a promotional code enter it at step 1 in the basket and the relevant discount will be applied to your total.

Q. How should I care for my item after purchase?
A. Care instructions can be found on the items page. It's highly recommended that you follow these instructions to make sure your item remains at it's best for years to come.
Q. What if I'm not happy with the my purchase? Can I return it?
A. We will refund or exchange any item that was in a sellers stock however made-to-order and customised items cannot be returned. Items you wish to return must be unused, in original packaging, and returned to us with 30 days to Grannies, Inc. Ltd., 18 Loughborough Park, London SW9 8TR. Please obtain proof of posting.

Q. How do I begin selling in your MarketPlace?

Q. What are your commission rates?
A. It is completely free to advertise your items in our MarketPlace. Grannies, Inc. charges a commission on the price of all items sold in the MarketPlace, not including the delivery charge, to cover payment processing fees, advertising, marketing and customer service costs. Please register for a stall for more information on our commission).
Q. I'm a keen knitter but don't have any of my own patterns. Can I still knit for you?
A. We're not currently looking for knitters to knit our own patterns however we are expanding and would still love to hear from anyone wanting to knit for us. To join our knitters list please fill out this form.
Q. I'm not a granny. Can I still knit for you?
A. Our mission is to provide a platform for grannies and members of the older generation in the UK to sell their own knitwear online. You don't strictly need to have grandchildren, however you should be of granny age.
Q. If I register to sell in the MarketPlace what are my obligations?
A. You can register to sell in the MarketPlace without any obligations at all. Once you list your first item for sale then you will be taking on the following responsibilities.
